How to Import Your CAS Portfolio into Investonks

Step-by-step guide to importing your CDSL/NSDL CAS statement

What is a CAS Statement?

A Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is a single document issued by CDSL or NSDL that lists all your mutual fund and stock holdings across all your demat accounts. It is the most complete picture of your portfolio.

Step 1 — Download Your CAS from CDSL

  1. Go to mycams.com or cams.camsonline.com
  2. Click Mailback Services → CAS (CDSL/NSDL)
  3. Enter your PAN and registered email
  4. You will receive a password-protected PDF on your email within 24 hours

Step 2 — Export to CSV

  1. Open the CAS PDF (password is your PAN + date of birth)
  2. Find the Equity Holdings section
  3. Copy the ISIN, company name, and quantity columns into a spreadsheet
  4. Save as CSV with columns: ISIN, Quantity (or Ticker, Quantity)

Step 3 — Import into Investonks

  1. Open Investonks and go to Portfolio → Import
  2. Select Upload CSV
  3. Choose your file — Investonks auto-detects ISIN, ticker, and quantity columns
  4. Confirm your holdings and tap Import
  5. Alerts are automatically enabled for all imported stocks

Supported Formats

Investonks accepts exports from: Zerodha Kite, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, CDSL easi, NSDL SPEED-e, and any standard CSV with ticker/ISIN and quantity columns.
